Barbara is the founder and currently the one and only teacher at Honeywood Schoolhouse. She has a Master's in Education from PSU and more than 15 years of
experience teaching in private and public schools in Oregon, Mexico and Ecuador. She is a first generation immigrant (a native Spanish speaker originally from Argentina), naturalized US Citizen and an Oregonian by choice! Influenced by her own varied educational experiences, she has always
dreamed of starting a small school of her own to create an ideal learning environment - a "homeschool away from home" - for children. Honeywood
Schoolhouse is the beginning of the realization of that dream!
